Resolution #1 Accept Town Board Meeting Minutes for October 7th, 15th, & 28th, 2024

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board accepts the October 7th, 15th, & 28th, 2024 Town Board meeting minutes.

 

 

 

Resolution #2 Approval of a Cable Television Agreement Between Spectrum Northeast LLC and the Town of Marion

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of the Town of Marion hereby grants the cable

television franchise of Spectrum Northeast, LLC and the Town of Marion for fifteen (15) years

commencing with the date of approval by the Public Service Commission and expiring fifteen

(15) years hence.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of the Town of Marion hereby confirms

acceptance of this franchise renewal agreement.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board Authorizes the Supervisor to sign said agreement and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk.

 

 

Resolution #3 Set Public Hearing to Amend Fee Schedule for 2025

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise for a Public Hearing be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 6:30pm in the Marion Court Room and to amend the Town of Marion Fee Schedule for 2025 and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of the proposed amended fee schedule can be obtained at the Marion Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk.

 

 

Resolution #4 Set Public Hearing to Amend Marion Cemetery Rules and Regulations

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise for a Public Hearing be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 6:30pm in the Marion Court Room and to amend the Marion Cemetery Rules and Regulations and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of the new Marion Cemetery Rules and Regulations can be obtained at the Marion Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours and;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk.

 

Resolution #5 Authorize the Repair of the Overhead Doors in the Kitchen at the Town Park

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the repair of the overhead doors in the kitchen at the Town Park and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, the amount not to exceed $190 and be expensed from account #71104.01.000.070 repair parts and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk.

 

Resolution #6 Payment of Claims-Prepays

WHEREAS, the Marion Town Board has received and audited the following claims: now

 

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized to pay said claims upon receipt of the signed abstracts of audited claims from the Town Clerk.
